Sign Placement Claims

The truth behind Pascal’s alleged use of hundreds of fake profiles in his war against 35-year Gallatin businessman and resident Bart Bagsby.

Recent claims that Bart Bagsby has placed campaign signs on residential development properties are simply inaccurate. The locations being referenced are commercial and retail development sites, not housing developments. These properties are intended for businesses such as restaurants, shops, and other commercial uses that can create jobs, expand Gallatin’s tax base, and provide services residents use every day.

Bart has consistently drawn an important distinction between responsible economic development and unchecked residential growth. Supporting well-planned commercial development does not mean supporting the continued loss of Gallatin’s remaining green space to dense housing projects. Restaurants, retail, and other job-producing businesses can strengthen our local economy while helping ensure that residential growth does not outpace our roads, utilities, public safety, and other infrastructure.

Bart’s position remains consistent: protect the green spaces that make Gallatin special, encourage responsible economic development, and make sure growth works for the families who already call Gallatin home. We can welcome new businesses and new opportunities without sacrificing every open acre to another housing development.
