I want to address this directly. The end result is this: the allegations being circulated about me come from a private employment dispute filed in 2003. I denied those allegations then, and I deny them today. When we filed a request for summary judgement three years after against the accusers, they quickly settled knowing the accusations were false and the accusers didn't have a case. I was vindicated and the court dismissed the accusers' lawsuit. There was no admission of liability and no court ever entered a finding that I sexually harassed anyone. Wild allegations in a complaint are not a verdict, and it should not be presented to the public as though it were.

Dismissed with prejudice, means the court has permanently closed the lawsuit, and the plaintiff cannot file the same claim again.
Court Dismissal Filing
I have spent much of my adult life building businesses, signing the front of paychecks, creating jobs and accepting the risks that come with putting your own name and livelihood on the line. Anyone who has been in business long enough knows that disagreements, claims and lawsuits sometimes come with the territory. When that happens, you defend yourself, rely on the facts, listen to your attorneys and keep moving forward. That is what I did in 2003.
The materials concerning the dispute also describe a companion action brought by the company against one of the former employees. Ultimately, both matters were dismissed before trial. Those facts are materially different from presenting a 2003 complaint as though it were a judicial finding of wrongdoing.
Gallatin has important issues in front of it like growth, infrastructure, traffic, taxes, green space and how its elected officials work together. I believe political disagreements should be argued on the facts, and allegations should be accurately identified as allegations rather than transformed into conclusions a court never reached. That is the American way!
